At iRWA we have spent years asking what real world value truly looks like. Not every asset can be extracted from the ground. Not every form of wealth can be traded on an exchange. Some of the most transformative forces in the world live inside people, families and communities. That is exactly why "Maam Ndeyy" is one of the 22 projects inside the iRWA ecosystem.
Maam Ndeyy is our Women's fund project based in Senegal. It exists to empower women led initiatives through community participation and values aligned funding. At its core it recognises what the world consistently overlooks: the quiet daily work of women who raise children, sustain homes and hold communities together.
When a child gains access to education, the return on that investment reaches decades into the future.
When women are funded and trusted as leaders, entire communities rise with them.
When compassion becomes a practice it strengthens the social fabric that every economy depends on.
These are not soft stories, these are real world assets. iRWA was built on the conviction that tokenizing value means more than digitizing land or commodities. It means finding new language for what has always mattered most: love, connection, care and opportunity and Maam Ndeyy is that language in action.

The Maam Ndeyy Mbogne Ndoye Foundation

Maam Ndeyy Mbogne Ndoye
Extraordinary women
The Maam Ndeyy Mbogne Ndoye Foundation, also known as the Maam Ndeyy Foundation, honours the memory, voluntary service and sacrifices of the first generation of midwives in Senegal and across Africa. Many women deserve to be remembered, and we sincerely apologise if we have unintentionally omitted any names. As examples of these courageous and pioneering women, we honour Maam Ndeyy Mbogne Ndoye (1897–1996) and Maam Fama Sary.
Inspired by these remarkable women, the Foundation provides assistance to pregnant women and mothers, supports women more broadly, helps children from disadvantaged backgrounds through education, vocational training and sports opportunities, and assists older people.
Foundation donors
MBI–Mbogna International Consulting, DrBBOYE e-Engineering, GIE Boyène-Agroel Biodiversité and Boyène-Agroel Biodiversité, AIE, Spanish branch, honour these pioneering women, whose work helped make their own organisations’ existence possible. These organisations are the Foundation’s first donors. In accordance with their statutes and the decisions of their respective boards, they allocate a share of their profits to the Maam Ndeyy Foundation, with the contribution set at no less than 17%.
